Erasmus+ is the current European funding programme for youth, general and vocational education and training, and sport for the period 2021 to 2027.

With a budget exceeding €26 billion, this new generation of Erasmus+ is more inclusive, innovative, digital, and environmentally friendly than ever before.

Thanks to improved accessibility and more flexible mobility formats, Erasmus+ offers people across Europe countless new opportunities for collaboration. While continuing to support proven initiatives, the programme also opens new doors and perspectives. Erasmus+ project opportunities are aimed at all age groups who are eager to actively shape their future!

Programme Duration: 2021–2027

The programme officially launched in 2021, marking the beginning of a new era of European educational and mobility initiatives. Erasmus+ focuses on key priorities such as digital transformation, sustainability (Green Erasmus), inclusion, and participation.

Whether you're a young person seeking international experience or a professional working in the field of education, youth, or sport, Erasmus+ provides numerous possibilities for growth, learning, and meaningful exchange.

In East Belgium, the Youth Office (Jugendbüro) serves as the National Agency, offering information, guidance, and support regarding Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Our mission is to inspire individuals and institutions to engage in innovative and enriching projects that empower and connect.

Why Erasmus+?

More inclusive: Removing barriers for participants with fewer opportunities

More digital: Encouraging the use of digital tools and blended learning

Greener: Supporting environmentally conscious travel and sustainability

More flexible: Offering new mobility formats and shorter exchange opportunities
