The first day of the “Healthy Youth in All Aspects” project, implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme and coordinated by Generaciones Saludables España with Alfa Sports Association as a partner organization, began with activities aimed at helping participants get to know one another, adapt to the project environment, and strengthen intercultural interaction. Young people from different countries came together in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, laying the foundation for the cooperation and collaboration that would continue throughout the project.
The day started with interactive ice-breaking and networking activities that encouraged participants to communicate and learn more about each other’s backgrounds, interests, and experiences. Through question-and-answer-based exercises, participants had the opportunity to share personal stories and cultural perspectives while building trust and strengthening group dynamics. This was followed by an orientation session during which the project objectives, planned activities, safety measures, environmentally friendly practices, and group working principles were presented. As a result, participants gained a clear understanding of the project structure and were encouraged to take an active role in the learning process.
Another important part of the first day was the introduction to the Erasmus+ Programme and Youthpass. Participants learned about the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, its contribution to personal development, and the importance of Youthpass as a tool for recognizing learning outcomes. Through small-group discussions and question-and-answer sessions, young people explored the value of international mobility and non-formal learning.
The day concluded with cultural presentations and country showcases, where participants introduced their traditions, cuisine, music, games, and cultural heritage. By celebrating cultural diversity and sharing elements of their national identities, participants fostered mutual understanding and intercultural awareness. These activities successfully combined the project’s focus on healthy lifestyles with the promotion of European values, inclusion, and intercultural learning.
