About Us
Alfa Sports Association was founded in 2023 in Etterbeek, the capital of Belgium, by a group of young individuals who believe that sport is an essential part of life. The roots of our organization date back to 2022, when we began as an informal group aiming to promote healthy living and the values of physical activity. In order to expand our reach, operate more professionally, and increase our capacity, we officially became an association. Our founding members have always had a strong interest in sports and a healthy lifestyle, and their motivation to help others—especially young people—embrace these values laid the foundation for our work. What began with just three passionate individuals has now grown into a dynamic organization where people of all ages and backgrounds work actively and voluntarily.
At Alfa Sports, we believe that sport is not just a recreational activity—it is a way to improve mental and physical health, a method for coping with stress, and a powerful tool for personal development and community building. In today’s fast-paced world, many people prioritize daily responsibilities over their well-being. Our association was created to remind people that sport should not be a luxury, but a necessity, and to create opportunities for individuals to reconnect with an active lifestyle.
Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of integrating sports into everyday life and to take action to promote healthy living through a variety of educational and social initiatives. We aim to bring young people together to develop creative and impactful projects that emphasize the role of physical activity in improving quality of life. Through national and international workshops, trainings, and events, we address issues such as physical inactivity, mental health, and lifestyle-related diseases, and we advocate for solutions where sports can play a key role. Our association also supports youth in discovering their passion for sports and encourages families and educational institutions to reinforce this interest.
In our work, we organize and participate in a wide range of activities: regular meetings, project planning sessions, training programs, awareness campaigns, seminars, webinars, and research activities. We collaborate with experts such as sports trainers, nutritionists, and health professionals to ensure our programs are informative and impactful. We also create digital content to spread awareness and support campaigns led by other organizations that align with our mission.
Our team consists of diverse and dedicated individuals. Our president, Titiksha, brings years of IT experience and digital skills, along with a passion for social impact and international collaboration. Buse Nur Küçük, our contact person, is a professional translator with strong communication skills, and plays a key role in international communication and project coordination. Our third key member is a graduate of sports sciences and works as a sports trainer, designing our physical activity programs and guiding participants with expertise.
Over the years, we have participated in several Erasmus+ projects as partners, including “It’s Your Turn – Promoting Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment for Rural Youth” and “Healthy Youth in All Aspects.” These projects have allowed us to grow our network, share knowledge, and build strong foundations for future collaborations. Every year, we organize a cycling event on April 6th for the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, where we engage the local community and distribute materials promoting physical activity.
Alfa Sports Association continues to grow and evolve with the same enthusiasm and commitment it began with. Whether you’re looking to participate in our events, collaborate on a project, or simply get inspired to live a more active and healthy life, we welcome you to join our journey. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier, and more connected world through sport.

It's your turn - Promoting Entrepreneurship and Self Employment for rural youth
2024-1-TR01-KA153-YOU-000220224
The project aimed to address the challenges faced by young people in rural areas by equipping youth workers with the skills needed for entrepreneurship and self-employment. It focused on the development of digital skills, entrepreneurship and employability, while supporting participants' personal and professional growth.
The project took place in Turkiye between 2–7 March 2025, bringing together participants from different backgrounds to engage in a meaningful learning experience.
The project was carried out in partnership with organizations from Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, and Turkiye, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange.
In addition, the project helped promote digital inclusion and community-focused youth work, enabling young people to get involved in their communities and foster a sustainable future. Through training, workshops, field visits, internships, and an entrepreneurship fair, participants acquired new skills, presented their business ideas, and built a solid network for their entrepreneurial projects.

Healthy Youth in All Aspects
2023-3-ES02-KA152-YOU-000178532
Our project succeeded in raising young people's awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the program, we addressed the challenges young people face in prioritizing their health in the face of academic pressure, social life, and personal difficulties. Through interactive workshops, training sessions, and engaging activities, we enabled participants to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle habits.
The project took place in Gijón, Spain, from 4–10 August 2024, and brought together partners from Belgium, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Spain, and Turkiye. This diverse collaboration enriched the experience, offering participants a multicultural perspective on health and well-being.
The project focused on key areas such as a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and mental well-being. Participants learned effective stress management techniques, including mindfulness and meditation, while becoming aware of the risks associated with harmful habits such as smoking and alcohol consumption. By fostering an environment of learning and self-discovery, we encouraged young people to make informed choices for their future.
